Udupi : Bajarang Dal leader Sharan Pumpwell said that the members of Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad condemn the act of encounter of Jokatte youth by the ANF personnel.
Speaking at the press meet held at Udupi Press club on April 21, Monday, he said that the whole episode of shoot out by the ANF personnel was unfortunate.
Pumpwell said that the ANF personnel have lost their confidence and sense of judgment of identifying the naxals and hence this indirectly helps Naxals to escape easily. He also urged the authorities to action against the ANF personnel, who shot Kabir.
He also criticized Mangalore North MLA Mohiuddeen Bava, who have failed to solve the problem pertaining to smuggling, illegal cattle trade and cow slaughter, which are witnessed more in the region. Hence he must resign from the post.
Pumpwell urged Government to implement strict laws on cow protection and stop illegal trading, he added.
