Mangalore: A joint protest meeting was organised on July26, Tuesday at noon by vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal to criticise the impending draft bill coming up in parliament against communal as well as targeted violence, near DC Office gates in city. The irate protestors burnt copies of this draft bill in public.
M.B.Puranik, vhp leader, addressing the crowds stated that the proposed black bill reaching Loka Sabha in August( the freedom month) dares to widen the mental understanding gaps among communities only to destroy the prevailing peaceful atmosphere in towns.
The bill was hastily drafted by a National Advisory Council headed by UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi with members known as reactionaries like MS. Teesta Setalwad and Anu Agha or Farah Naqvi, besides Harsh Mander and others who were biased against Hindus in majority.
The bill is prepared under wrong nations of Hindu violence against Muslims or Christians who make up 15% of Indian population.
