Mangalore: A total of 573 students from DK, Udupi Kasargod and Uttara Kannada Districts received scholarships amounting over Rs 22 lakhs on behalf of Prerana, an employee run social service trust of Infosys Mangalore, Bevinje Sridhara Kakkillaya Foundation, Kasargod, Yakshagana Kalaranga, Udupi and Vidyaposhak Dhrithi Foundation, Mangalore. The scholarships are named Pratibha Poshak 2012.

V K Talithaya, CEO, Primacy Industries was the chief guest on the occasion.Niveditha Shetty from Prerana, Dr. Srinivas Kakkillaya from Dhrithi Foundation, BV Kakkillaya from Bevinje Sridhar Kakkillaya Foundation were present on the occasion.

There was an interactive session on Life Skills and Attitude by Ramprasad of Infosys.
