Mangaluru: Former minister Krishna J Palemar informed that Vikas educational institutions is going to organise ‘Vikas Panchso ka Josh’ on 27 August, a supportive programme for Make in India theme implemented by the Central government.
Addressing the media personnel at Mangaluru Press Club on Friday, he said that the event will be formulated primarily focussing on three categories i.e. best business model, best innovation and aesthetically brilliant model.
“Best business model competition is to build interest towards commerce field, best innovation to spark the scientist hidden inside of the students and aesthetically brilliant model is constituted to imagine the different dimensions of Arts,” he said.
He further said that a seed fund of Rs 500 will be given to each teams and each schools can send maximum of 5 teams to the competitions. All the teams should prepare models using seed fund only. Winners of this competition will get a scholarship of Rs 10000.
“The amount which is remaining from the seed fund and contribution from Vikas will be used to provide essentials for the unprivileged orphans and aged in the city and outskirts, in the presence of participants,” he added.
