Bantwal: “The village can be developed if the decisions taken in grama panchayat will be implemented strictly,” said MLC Kota Shrinivas Poojary.

He was addressing the gathering at Sajipanadu gramothsava, on Monday. “New projects should be planned and implemented for the overall development of the GP. Gramothsava will bring all the people together,” he said.

He further said that undivided districts Panchayat fest will be arranged at Kota. Panchayat Raj plan was implemented for providing best governance to the least person of the chain system.

Several developmental works were inaugurated by retired police officer K Muhammad on the occasion. Panchayat yearly souvenir was released by Haneef Khan Kodaje. Panchayath’s success history was released bu ZP member Raveendra Kambali.

TP former President Yashavanth Deraje and Khairunnisa were felicitated during the occasion.

Congress party leaders were absent for the event and they were not seen anywhere near the area.
Panchayat President Muhammad Naasir, Vice-President Sunitha Shanti Moras, Abdul Rashid, Suresh Bangera, Vimala and others were present.
