Mangalore :  Urban Development Minister Vinaykumar Sorake convened a meeting with MUDA officials at the MUDA office in Mangalore on June 17,  Monday.

Guruprasad, Town Planning Officer made a power point presentation on various projects of MUDA.

JR Lobo, MLA Mangalore South took the officials to task for purchasing land  at Chelar and Madhya for development, without conducting survey.

He alleged that deserving people were not granted single site approval while in some cases sites and layouts are approved without even  inspection.

On this occasion, the Minister warned inefficient officials and asked them to do their  duties diligently.

N Prakash, DC and MUDA Chairman,  Harish Kumar, Personal Assistant to the Minister, Moidin Bava, Mangalore North MLA, Monappa Bhandary, MLC were also present.
