Mangalore: Speaking in a press meet on Jan.8 Wednesday, Vishwa Hindu Parishad executive president, Praveen Bhai Togadia warned the state Govt. against moving a bill on Hindu superstitions only, and the state attempt to take over Hindu temples and other institutions like Mutts. Hindus will not sit idle when their religion is tarnished in the name of modernity, as Hinduism and a Hindu faith is far older than Christianity or Islam that have entered India only recently, he said.
Hindus will take up a policy of intense agitation even against the elected Govt. of congress party in State if the rulers bend down to nationalize Hindu religious institutions only, while keeping the identity of Muslim and Christian institutions of prayer and their properties.
Togadia went on to say that both central and Karnataka governments should realize that they should follow democratic methods of rule in a people’s democracy that has been established since 1950 and we are having a republic day soon this month. But if any partiality is shown towards minorities at the cost of the majority, the people will intervene to set rite the balance of existence all over India in 2014 Loksabha Elections.
Certain cases are been put up in court in the names of Hindu leaders who are seeking justice against the ruling party for hoisting the flag of injustice on communities found in India. He asked the governments not to disturb Hindu minds with make shift bills and resort to temporary majors to apes only two minority communities leaving the rest unattended.
