Udupi :  Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt, who participated in an apolitical convention of citizens   held at Chittaranjan Circle here under the aegis of the Prajaprabhutva Samrakshana Vedike, while referring to the sleaze video allegedly involving Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhat, said the truth can come out only when there is a thorough probe.

Speaking as a chief guest at the function, the seer said he did not want to pinpoint anyone, but demanded a thorough probe into the case. One should not indulge in character assassination of anyone over the issue, the seer said and added there is a possibility of even
technology being misused.

Former Rotary governor, Jnanavasanta Shetty, said people who win elections by luring voters through money, liquor and false propaganda cannot be considered as real elected representatives who can feel the pulse of the people; Bolyottu Sri Vikhyatananda Swamiji, Hosmar, Dakshina Kannada district Kannada Sahitya Parishat president, Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, Several leaders like K K Naik, Balakrishna Hegde, Tallur Rama, Balaji Raghavendra Acharya,   Ranjan Kalkura and several others were present.
