Mangalore : The KS Hegde Charitable Hospital organised a Walkathon on September 29 Sunday in connection with World Heart Day. UT Khader, Health Minister inaugurated the Walkathon which was held from Pumpwell Circle to IMA Hall.

Nitte University Dean Dr Shantharam Shetty, Mangalore City Corporation Commissioner Ajith Kumar and several others were present.

Hundreds of people took part in the walkathon. Khader who spoke on the occasion exhorted people to resort to regular exercise to maintain physical fitness.
