Bangalore: The Lokayukta special Court on Monday dismissed an appeal from B.S. Yeddyurappa, seeking “exemption” on 2nd and 3rd Complaints filed by some lawyers in regard to land scans in his name, and issued a warrant against him, when his close followers were getting ready for a show of strength in Hubli, to overwhelm the present rule of DVS Gowda.
The second and third private complaints on land scams were moved by lawyer Sirajin Basha and his friend, countered by lawyers on Yeddy’s side.
But Judge N.K. Sudheendra Rao, who had earlier sent Yeddy to jail in another case, declined to provide exemption to the man accused, after conducting an enquiry over the appeal. Further enquiry is pushed to March 24.
Meanwhile, yeddy has rushed to New Delhi again to fall in front of High Command leaders and tell them of his ardent desire to be CM again in whatever way possible, while they are not convinced.
The Court warrant is now chasing him like a Ram-ban (an arrow shot by Sri Rama) to Delhi, while his close disciples are in a Hubli hotel preparing for a new show-down in state.
