Mangaluru: Free Psoriasis medical camp has begun today, October 26 and will continue until October 31 at Department of Dermatology, KMC Hospital, Attavar in Mangaluru. Experts will provide their service from 10.00 AM to 04.00 PM during the camp.

All those who have doubts about their chronic skin disorders may also make use of these facilities during the camp. In addition to free consultation, the camp beneficiaries can avail 25% discount on phototherapy, 10% discount on radiology / x-ray.

Psoriasis is a chronic skin disease which can also involve joints. It can affect anyone and can persist for long periods. It is not a contagious disease and various modalities of treatments are available to control it. The medical camp is organised as part of ‘World Psoriasis week’ which is being observed from October 26 to 31.
