Mangalore : In true spirit of social service, NGO White Doves  has constructed a two-bedroom house for the family of Francis , an auto driver, who is economically backward, in the piece of land he owned at Tannirbavi. The house was handed over to the beneficiary on New Year eve.

Francis who was earlier residing in a one-room house with his wife and three daughters, had approached White Doves with a request for a house as his landlord was continuously forcing him to vacate his house.

White Doves contacted the Tannirbavi Chruch Parish Priest Fr Sunil D’Souza and under his guidance began the construction works.

Francis will be returning half the cost of the construction to White Doves so that it can assist some other family in need.

Fr Sunil D’Souza, Corrine Rasquinha, Founder of White Doves, Francis, his wife and children were present.

Almost two months ago, White Doves had also helped a person have a good roofing for his one-room house. It had also aided a widow with two daughters to complete the construction of her house.
