Mangaluru: A 25-year-old woman filed a  complaint against her husband alleging that he has kidnaped her 14-month-old girl child from her residence in Kadri Alvares Road.

The woman claimed that her husband was unemployed and staying at home. She said that he kidnapped the child with an intent to sell the child for money and his relatives too helped him.

It is said that there is an attempt to murder case in Kodagu and a theft case in Vittal registered against his name.

Sources claim that the husband and wife belong to different religions and he was pressurizing his wife to follow his faith.

Complaint  registered at Kadri Police station.
