Mangalore: A female member of Indian Mujahideen Aysha Banu, reportedly converted from Hindu to Muslim religion in view of her marriage to an IM leader in recent times, was arrested by city police along with her husband for the crime of supplying money to IM activists working under Yasin Bhatkal and other such leaders to create bomb blasts all over India, notably in Patna of Jharkhand State. It  appears that Aysha a Hindu girl converted to Islam a was holding several bank accounts in various names in her control and was feeding the IM gangsters to carry on their nefarious activities all over India.

It may be noted that Mangalore city was used as a hideout and a bomb making factory site by IM gangsters from Bhatkal on the west coast.

Banu was arrested in Panjimogaru near Mangalore from a secret hideout. The money in her possession had been from time to time given to a number of IM recruits to plan and  carry out destructive activities all over India.

The city police are seriously investigating into the depths of IM financial resources in India (such as Aysha Banu) and abroad.
