Mangalore :  A woman from  Kallaup near Ullal  has committed suicide by jumping into the River Netravathi off the railway bridge near Tokkottu on June 19, Wednesday along with her two little children.

The woman who has ended her life is Mumtaz (23) and her daughters Fathima Nihana and Khatija Naifa. Fathima is a Class III student while Khatija is studying UKG. They are said to be  hailing from Hidayatnagara at Kallaup.

It  is learnt, Mumtaz’s husband Mohammad Sadiq worked overseas. The cause of her suicide is not known. She is said to have left behind a death note in which she has held herself as responsible for her death.

Ullal police are conducting the investigations.
