Mangalore : A woman named Vandana Prabhu (32) jumped off the third floor of Krishna Complex near PVS Circle in Mangalore on the evening of September 17, Monday.

It is learnt, the woman left behind her sandals and  bag and jumped from the window. She however landed straight on a young man from Assam who is a KMC student, also injuring him in the process.

Both of them have been hospitalized and the condition of Vandana is said to be critical. The cause of her extreme step is not known. Vandana is said to be a resident of jail road. No complaint has been registered with the police so far.
