Bantwal : A woman has jumped into the well after pushing her six year old daughter into the well at Melkarugudde in Bantwal on July 10, Wednesday night.

The deceased is Pratima (33) wife of Naveen Kumar, a former army man and their daughter Diya(6).

According to reports Pratima had left home with her daughter around midnight and had jumped into the well. It is said the couple had a quarrel after Naveen advised his wife against receiving late night calls and messages.

Bantwal police  are investigating and enquiring Naveen Kumar, the husband of the deceased.
