Mangalore: A woman named Latha Raghavendra (50) who sustained serious injuries in a collision between an autorickshaw and a KSRTC bus near  Nagori on November 12, Monday, succumbed to her injuries in the hospital. The woman was travelling in the autorickshaw along with her daughter Prakrithi(24)  and both were on way to the railway station as they had to travel to Mumbai. Even Prakrithi sustained injuries, but is said to be recovering in the hospital. The auto driver too was injured.

The bus driver fled the scene of the accident. The accident  occurred when the bus driver in order to avoid collision with a motorbike eventually rammed against the autorickshaw.

Kankanady police are investigating.
