Mangalore :  The Women’s special bus of the KSRTC rolled out on the road  on the Kasargod-Mangalore route on August 12, Monday. The bus will leave  Kasargod at 8 am and reach Mangalore at 9.30 am. It will then leave Mangalore in  the evening at 6.05 pm and reach   Kasargod at 7.30 pm.

The KSRTC intends to offer such services on many other routes if the response for the special bus on the Mangalore-Kasargod route is good. Presently, the KSRTC runs 264 trips daily with its 37 buses on the Mangalore Kasargod route.

The new women’s bus is likely to be a boon to Mangalore who travel during peak hours.
