Mangalore : Senior Congress leader and former union minister B Janardhan Poojari has called upon party workers to strive unitedly for the party’s success in the next elections.
Addressing a party workers meeting held at Shanthi Kiran Hall, Bajjodi on October 22, Monday, Poojari also recalled the success of the recent party workers convention at Nehru Maidan in Mangalore which was addressed by Party President Sonia Gandhi.
While pointing out the differences that still exist among party workers and leaders, he said everyone will have to sink differences if at all the party has to succeed.
Oscar Fernandes, Rajya Sabha Member, who also spoke said in their race for power, leaders forget that it was their duty to serve the society.
District Congress President Ramanatha Rai also spoke on the occasion. KPCC Secretary Ivan D’Souza, City Mayor Gulzar Banu, former MP Vinaykumar Sorake, PV Mohan, Mamatha Gatti, Mithun Rai and others were present.
