Mangalore : DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai inaugurated the World Bunts Convention organized as a part of centenary fete of Buntara yane Nadavara Mathru Sangha at the AB Shetty grounds on May 9, Friday.

Prior to the conference, the renovated Bunts Hostel Circle, was dedicated to the Mangalore City Corporation in the presence of dignitaries and District Minister.

Speaking on the occasion, Rai said that the members of the Bunts Community are known for their leadership qualities.

He also said that the contribution of Bunts Community towards the society is tremendous and the achievements of the members of the community are spread across the globe.

Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel participated as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he said that association president Ajith Kumar Rai Malady had taken a lot of effort to organize the convention.
