Hyderabad : 50 days ago, Y. Sri Laxshmi, IAS had been named as accused no.4 in the S.Rajashekhar Reddy-Gali Janardhan Reddy illegal mining case, without bothering about the fact that her husband M.Gopikrishna, IPS was inspector-general of criminal Investigation Department (CID-IG),by CBI joint director V.V Laxmi Narayana.

Presently, on Monday the last named arrested the senior Lady IAS office, in spite of her pleas to turn an informer witness entitled for legal forgiveness of punishment to her, by telling her point-blank that-CBI had  enough witnesses to tell the true story, and her (IAS woman’s )assistance was not needed.

She was asked to go to jail, on Monday evening.

The arrested IAS women (Sri Lakshmi) is alleged to have helped Janardhan Reddy in Bellary, to conduct illegal mining without –due license , and also by encroaching upon other mining owners lands.

Sri lakshmi IAS was sent to Kothi Kottala jail (CBI`s DilKhush guest-house) to spend her first night in jail, and this stay may soon be extended, if Nampally CBI special court this so desires.

Andhra state’s Mineral Corporation MD, V.D.Rajagopal, MLA Gali Janardhan Reddy, and brother-in –law (Obulapuram Mining Co. Chief)B.V. Srinivas Reddy are jail-birds in Hyderabad  already at Chanchalaguda prison.
