Mangalore : There has been a startling revelation that a flat at Attvar in Mangalore named Zephyr Heights was the place where bombs used to be made by notorious terrorist Yasin Bhatkal and his aide Asadullah Akhtar among others.
The NIA which has interrogated Yasin and Bhatkal has gathered this information. The bombs used for blasts in Hyderabad, Bangalore and other places.
The two it is learnt stayed in Room No 301 on the third floor of the apartment. It is learnt NIA officials had seized 50 digital watches, wires used for fixing in bombs, a few mobile phones, three electrical detonators 125 gram ammonium nitrate gel and a book having details of making a bomb circuit. This has almost made it clear that the city was a safe bomb factory for the ultras.
There is information that Asadulla stayed here for six months upto March and had taken the bombs that were blasted in Hyderabad. It is learnt Asadullah was assisted by Tahsin Akhtar Alias Monu alias Hassan (23) of Bihar and Waqas alias Ahmed (28) the latter being experts in making bomb circuits.
