Bangalore: At Shikaripur home in native Shimoga, former CM B.S. Yeddyurappa on Saturday declared that he did not care to reply Eshwarappa on collective leadership, but he did not react to DVS Gowda that he was now de jure CM, and not merely de facto CM as he was an MLC and would complete full term of 18 months as CM.
Yeddy left it to the High Command to shake up Gowda and replace him by oneself (Yeddy).
He reiterated that he was not in favour of a collective BJP leadership in Karnataka. He announced that he had planted the view in mass minds that ‘BJP’ means BSY’ and that BSY means BJP.
He told newsmen that a Party should have only one leader, not many.
But Eshwarappa says he has full faith in collective leadership, and CM DVS Gowda states that Party decides who should be the leader. Bookanakere Yeddyurappa at present is a leader without a Party, through he built the BJP.
