Bangalore : Close on the heels of CBI raids on the residences of former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa, reports say the former CM might be arrested any moment on May 16, Wednesday.
It has been leant that the raiding team found that several vital documents and files have been missing and in this backdrop the arrest of Yeddyurappa, the accused number A1 may be likely to elicit more information.
At the same time, reports said a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Yeddyurappa. Heavy security has been maintained outside the residences of Yeddyurappa at Race Course Road and Dollars Colony.
Meanwhile, TV 9 has reported that Yeddyurappa confidante Shobha Karandlaje was in Delhi lobbying at a high level to avert the arrest of the former CM.
