Mangaluru : Academics and administration of Yenepoya University P C M Kunhi (74) passed away on the night of Monday February 29.
He had a stroke on Feb 28, Immediatly he rushed to the hospital on Sunday and put on life support system, but he did not responded for the treatment.
He was the convenor of Yenepoya Moideen Kunhi Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust, convenor of Yenepoya Foundation and chairman of Peecee Group of Industries.
Kunhi stayed in his house at Kaprigudda in Attavar, and is survived by wife and three sons.
He reciceved Aryabhata Award in 2011 in recognition of his contribution to education and entrepreneurship, and the district Rajyotsava Award in 2014 in the field of education.
