Udupi :  A young businessman from Santoshnagar here lost his life, when his scooter was hit by a tipper at Nittoor on March 28, Thursday night.

The deceased is Abdul Saleem (26),  who was engaged in slab supply. He was maritally engaged and was scheduled to wed soon.
The pillion rider Amil Ali (20) of Muniyalu in karkalla, has sustained serious injuries in the mishap. The accident took place when the tipper driver all of a sudden took a reverse taking the bike riders unaware. Town police have registered a case.
