Kundapur : In an accident a young lady died and another seriously injured on NH 66 near Kota, near Krishna Bhavan Hotel on Saturday, November 28.

The two-wheeler driver Shreya Shanubag(24) lost her life and Prajna (25) was seriously injured.

The duo were on their two-wheeler and travelling towards Brahmavar from Kundapur when an SUV car hit them.

Prajna is undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

The driver of the SUV car tried to flee along with his vehicle. But due to the sharp presence of mind of Nagaraj Puthran, owner of Jeevan Mithra ambulance, the SUV was stopped at Sasthan tollgate and handed over to Kota police station.
