Puttur : A young  has committed suicide consuming poison at Herebandadi, Uppinangady here on Tuesday, January 1.

Divya Poojary is the deceased person she had got married a year ago, after being in love,

It is learnt Divya who worked in a textile shop at Puttur had returned to her husband’s home from her parental house on December 31. There she consumed poison in the morning of January 1.

After consuming  poison she told the members of her husband’s family, They rushed her to the private hospital in Puttur. However, she died in the afternoon without responding to treatment.
