Mangalore: Vijetha, a young girl hailing from Mangalore, but employed in Bangalore, ended her life by hanging in her house in Mangalore. She had come home for Ganesha Chaturthi celebrations.

The girl, daughter of Sunder Poojari of Bhandaramane in Madoor, had joined work in a private firm in Bangalore after her BBM. Health problem is learnt to have driven the girl to the extreme step. According to reports, she was suffering from chronic thyroid and tonsil problems.

Ullal police have registered a case.
