Moodabidiri: In a heartbreaking incident a young woman died due to falling into a pond at Karikumeru, Tenka mijar Moodabidiri.
Vinola Mendonca (25) is the deceased person. It is reported that she accidentally slipped and fell into a pond in their arecanut farm.
It is said that the cow which she was holding ran here and there because of which she lost her control and slipped out of her feet.
A case is registered at Moodabidiri police station.
