Mangalore : In a tragic road mishap, a young man lost his life after he, in his haste to get down the bus even before it reached the bus stop, jumped out of the bus near Baikampady on May 15, Wednesday. He eventually got crushed under the rear tyres of the bus and died on the spot. The bus almost dragged him upto ten feet before it stopped at the Baikampady bus stop.

The identity of the deceased is not known. His age is said to be around 25. The bus Annapoorneshwari of route no 13 A  was plying from Kunjathbail towards Katipalla Kaikamba when the mishap took place.

Panambur police are conducting investigations.
