Mangaluru : A youth was arrested for growing cannabis at his home in two flower pots, in Pandith House, on Wednesday.
The arrested youth has been identified as Joshua D’Souza, 18, a college student. Police said that acting on a tip-off, they raided house premises of accused and found that cannabis plants are grown in two flower pots. Police said they found eight plants weighing around 74 grams. They have also found cannabis seeds in the premises. Total seizure is valued around Rs 2,500.
Police, who did not divulge more information about ganja growing in flower pots, said that it is under investigation whether accused was growing it earlier and selling the same.
