Mangalore: In a illegal cattle transportation issue  caught a pick-up vehicle near Gurupur on Saturday 3 July.

Smuggling cattle handed it over to the police. The driver of the pick-up vehicle and three others who were in the vehicle fled from the spot.

After the incident Shahul Hameed from Gurupur Kaikamba area was brutally assaulted by a group on the same night. Immediately he was shifted to a private hospital for treatmen.

Police have tightened the security in Gurupur after this incident.
