Bantwal : A youth identified as Sampath Rai(23) , son of Vaman Shetty of Maani village, has reportedly committed suicide by coming under a moving train at Kodaje near Maani on March 3, Sunday. Il-health is said to be the reason for the extreme step.

His body was found in a mangled state. He had  come under the Mangalore-Puttur  train. It is said, Sampath   worked for a private firm in Mangalore. He was suffering from a heart problem and had even undergone surgery.

The police have also found a death note wherein it was written in English that he was ending his life for personal reasons and was himself to be blamed. The identity was ascertaining  on the basis of the mobile phone found near the body.
