Manipal : Youth Congress workers of Udupi staged a protest on August 26, Monday against  CNN-IBN Deputy Editor Sagarika Ghosh for allegedly making a mockery of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

The Congress workers wearing black badges  gathered in front of Valley View Hotel where Sagarika Ghosh stayed and shouted slogans against  her. They also demanded apology from her. The agitation was withdrawn after the hotel authorities  tendered an apology.

Sagarika had allegedly made the comments during a programme organza by Manipal school of Communication on August 24, Saturday.

Yatish Karkera, Youth Congress President,  Shantaram Salvankar, S Narayana, Ganesh Raj and others took part in the protest.
