Mangalore: In a tragic incident reported from Bondantila near Tarigudde, a youth lost his life after he was caught amid the branches of a tree. The deceased has been identified as Aris (25), son of Aboobakker of Addoor Manjotti.

The mishap took place when Aris and three others were axing a huge tree. It is learnt,a huge branch fell over Aris and he caught in between resulting in his death.

Hundreds of people had gathered at the spot and the body was removed with the help of fire service personnel and Police.

Mangalore rural police have registered a case.
