Mangaluru : In an tragic collision between truck and motor bike  claims motor bike riders life near Kotekar Beeri on late night on Tuesday September 8.

The deceased identified as Muhammed Zakaria (23), residing near Talapady check post . The bike rider Shiyab (22), who hails from Talapady K C Nagar, also injured and admitted to the hospital.

It is said, Muhammed Zakaria who employed in Dubai had returned to his native place recently and he was supposed to leave for the Dubai on September 18.

On Tuesday Muhammed Zakaria was returning home in his motor bike with his friend, Shiyab, on the pillion, when the bike hit the stationary truck near the commercial tax office near Beeri the incident occurred.

He is survived by parents, five brothers, and a sister.

Protest

Tulunadu Rakshana Vedike activists staged a protest in front of the commercial tax office and hold straight responsible to the commercial tax officers for the deaths and injuries caused in accidents at this spot.

The officials of the commercial tax department held discussions with Ullal police and leaders of the Vedike. They promised to take adequate safety measures on the highway.

Tulunadu Rakshana Vedike president Yogish Shetty, Talapady village president of the central committee of the Vedike, Hasinar K C Road, Someshwara unit president, Ahmed Peribail, Kotekar unit president, Ravi Shetty, Hameed Hassan Madoor, and others were present.

A case has been registered in Ullal police station.
