Mangalore : A young man hailing from Kuppepadavu in Mangalore taluk, met a tragic end when he was shot dead by an unidentified man while he was on way home from his workplace at Qatif in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the night of March 16.
The young man Mohammad Siraj who lost his life, worked as a car driver at Qatif and had joined work six months ago.
He was the youngest of the five children of Mohammad and Zubeda from Kuppepadavu and has left behind his wife and two kids.
Though Siraj was immediately rushed to the hospital, he breathed his last there. His killer is learnt to have surrendered to the police.
The cause of the murder is not known and his killer has surrendered to the police.
The body has been kept at the Dammam Central Hospital mortuary and reports say it may take some days for the body to be brought back to the hometown.
