Adyanadka: A youth suffered serious injuries after his bike was hit by a heavily loaded tipper on Kalladka-Kanhangad interstate highway at Adyanadka on Saturday.

The victim has been identified as Akshay Kumar N (21) a resident of Saravu near Mudambailu.

He has been admitted to a hospital in Puttur for medical treatment.

As per sources, the tipper was transporting raw materials from an illegal mining spot.
