Mangalore : In a tragic incident reported from Soorinje Puchchady  at Suratkal on June 24, Sunday, a 17 year old youth met a watery grave while enjoying a swim along with his friends.

The deceased is Rohith from Hosakadu in Kinnigoli. The mishap is learnt to have  occurred when Rohith and four other friends had been for a swim in the river as usual despite warnings from the locals. Search is on for the body.

Rohith who has done his second PUC  worked in Aravind Motors at Kulur.
