Mangalore : The District unit of the Yuva Janata Dal has expressed its grave concern over the rising cases of atrocities on women in the nation and also the rampant corruption.
Speaking to reporters in Mangalore on January 10, Thursday, Krishnappa Poojari, District President of Yuva Janata Dal(S) said people are taking to the streets against the problems and added the incident has made Indians feel ashamed.
He further was also highly critical of the Central Government for failing to act tough even when Indian soldiers on duty in the border areas, have been beheaded by Pak army.
Poojari also said the Janata Dal has emerged as a ray of hope and added it would be teaching a befitting lesson to the ruling parties at the Centre as well as the State which have failed to live upto the expectations of the people.
Yuva Janata Dal Working President Srinath Rai, Vahid Khan, General Secretary, Aboobakker Ammunje, Hariprasad Rai and others were present.
