Mangaluru : 24 new coronavirus cases reported in Dakshina Kannada on Thursday, May 28.

As many as 18 tested positive for coronavirus on the evening of Thursday taking the day’s total to 24.

Total 14 males and four females tested positive, 18 persons to test positive have travelled from Maharashtra.

Out of the 105 positive cases, 97 are from Dakshina Kannada and eight patients are from other districts. Seven persons have died, including one due to non-covid 19 reason in the district so far.

As many as 149 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including a death. Three have recovered, and 145 are active.
