Mangaluru : Eight petrol bombs and two machetes were found stashed near the BSNL telephone exchange at Ganjimath here on Monday night.

A family residing near the telephone exchange noticed the bombs on Tuesday morning in a garbage pile and informed the police.

Bajpe police, who immediately rushed to the spot and seized the material, have launched an investigation. City Police Commissioner S. Murugan too visited the spot and issued directions to the personnel.
