Mangalore : Minister for Cooperation H.S. Mahadeva Prasad said that a total of Rs 1 crore funds have been given as relief funds by all the co-operative Banks.
He was speaking at the press meet held at SCDCC Bank hall on July 27, Saturday. He also said that the state government has moved ahead to add the names of SHG members in the Yashaswini Health Insurance Scheme as they enroll their names in the list and government will pay the premium of very poor family, he said.
The government will pay the loan of Rs 25,000 of the farmers taken loan of Rs 1 lakh and above.
The state government was giving the loans to the farmers up to Rs 1 lakh at zero percent interest and one percent interest upto Rs 2-Rs3 lakhs, but now the present government will give the loan upto Rs 2 lakhs at zero percent interest.
