Bangalore: Following the RSS leaders in Delhi giving a dressing down talk to Delhi BJP High Command Leaders at Thandewalan office just 2 days ago, Nitin Gadkari is expected to comedown to Bangalore, to relieve B.S Yeddyurappa of his onerous responsibilities as CM in a decorous way and give him a new Party post, so that another Karnataka BJP leader blessed by him could take ever, for the next 30 moths the reigns of power.
Names like Dr. V.S Acharya, Shobha Karandlaje, H.N Ananthkumar, R. Ashoka and one or two others (MLAs) are going round for a replacement, with blessings from BSY. The count-down for a healthy change has begun, observes say, but a real alternative is not to be seen anywhere.
This person has to be acceptable to the High Command while he (or she) should also rise form among elected MLAs (105 at present).
Yeddyurappa weaknesses are known to all BJP leaders in Bangalore and the Vidhana Soudha. But the replacement has to step in to his shoes, squarely and for fairly long period.
Soon after the CM reached Bangalore from Mangalore, he had publicity stated that his govt, would complete its full term and BJP would rule for a decades or more in South India and Karnataka. If wishes were horses!
But the Judiciary in Bangalore and New Delhi has realized that the biggest land – grab and distribution of it among relatives of BJP leaders, had gone on and on, like iron ore sales and experts from Bellary illegally since 2002.
A probe by a retired Supreme Court Judge may only stall the eventual exit of CM in 2010 to 2011 cases from 200 to 2010 would be revisited by this enquiry. But CM is no longer innocent.
