Mangalore : Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Union Minister Shripad Yesso Naik to inaugurate Mangalore Pilikula Regional Science Centre established at Pilikula on October 1 at 11 am.
The centre in Mangalore is the Karnataka’s second Regional Science Centre.
Speaking to the media on September 29, Monday, DK District in-Charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai said that State Minister for Youth Services Abhayachandra Jain will preside over the function.
The centre has been constructed by the National Council of Science Museums, Kolkata on a 10 acre land at Pilikula at the cost of Rs 11.5 crores sanctioned by State and Union Governments.
The Regional Science Centre is equipped with various facilities like a virtual laboratory, fun science section, exhibition hall, conference hall, computer room and library. Apart from it, it is also equipped with facilities for sports and games.
