Mangaluru: Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Hindu Jagarana Vedike staged a protest against state government for targeting the Hindutva outfits and imposition of the Goonda Act against volunteers. The protest held at in-front of DC office here on Friday,Nov 7.
Speaking on the occasion Satyajit Surathkal said, the government is guiding to police department to target Hindu organisations and its volunteers. The government impositions the Goonda Act against our member to control the hinduism. Our activists are being included in rowdy sheeter list.
Without arrest warrants hindu activists taken to the police station. He urged government should have invoked the Goonda Act to Rashid Malbari not hindu innocent people, he added.
Further he said a chain of protests will be conducted until we get justice, for that reason on Monday, November 10 at Bajpe Bus Stop, Vamanjoor junction on Tuesday, November 11 and at Thokkottu junction on Wednesday, November 12 protests are arranged.
The police are working as agents of the congress. On Nanditha’s mysterious death in Thirthahalli, government protecting the culprits said, MLC Monappa Bhandary.
MLC Ganesh Karnik, M.B Puranik, Ravishankar Mijar, Sharan Pumpwell, Kishore Kumar, Bhujanga Kulal, Jagadish Shenava and others were present.
