Udupi: One killed on the spot after a gas tanker crash into a mini truck at Tekkatte, on Saturday.

Annappa is the deceased person. Three other people have sustained with severe injuries and they were rushed to the Manipal hospital.

As per the preliminary reports, a Maharashtra origin gas tanker rammed into a parked 407 truck by killing one on the spot. It dragged the truck for a considerable distance and came to halt after hitting a compound wall. Four people sitting on front of a shop near the spot fortunately escaped with no harm.

A case has been registered at Kota police station.
