Udupi: Manipal police inspector Girish has been transferred as Inspector of Udupi DCB. As the allegations of helping the accused of Bhaskar Shetty murder case were increasing, to stop the allegations and interference of Girish in the case, he has been transferred.

Udupi SP Balakrishna had ordered for a departmental enquiry on Girish for the allegations made on him. As per the orders ASP Vishnuvardhan conducted the enquiry and submitted the report to the SP.

Based on the report, SP recommended the transfer of Girish with IGP. As per the recommendation of SP, IGP of western range transferred Inspector Girish to DCB.

Now, DCB Inspector Sampath Kumar has been transferred to Manipal station as Inspector.
